Angharad & Rob's beautiful wedding day highlights. A very simply elegant day filled with tradition and cute little details.
A beautifully crisp winter's day in the heart of Pembrokeshire starting with their ceremony in the very quaint Croesgoch chapel followed by their reception at Crug Las in Solva. Our first visit to this venue and it's a stunning one, the photographs were taken on a field just set off from the entrance of the venue, with sweeping views over the countryside and complete with a few hay bales in the background! Can't beat a hay bale! Lit by hundreds and hundreds of fairy lights, the venue twinkled by night along with a light up ' Cariad ' sign on the dance floor. Rob & Angharad braved the cold of the evening to light up some sparklers - it didn't quite go to plan when we couldn't find enough lighters but sometimes this can create the best moment, everyone was laughing and in really high spirits which really shows in the highlights.

Well, I know it's February but I think I'm only just recovering from how popular the Christmas sessions were at Langland bay, selling out in less than two days!! We will be back this year in the same hut at the same location, with the sleigh, some new props and more dates to go around. It'll be every weekend throughout mid/late Novermber and early December. I've been asked to save dates already!
Here's a few shots but there was literally thousands!! Thank you to everyone that booked, all the big smiles and Christmas spirit as well as every single walker by that commented on how amazing it looked. It made all the hard work worth every second!!
We didn't half get some odd looks carrying a life size sleigh and bales of hay across Langlands coastal path!!!
Our first wedding of 2017 had its pluses and minuses.... +2 brides and what felt like -10 degrees on the beach, with blustering wind chilling our bones, whilst I told Clare & Emma not to look cold!! (Easier said than done I know.)
Stunning wedding - beautiful black & silver theme with the best afternoon tea going! Great to see Claire who I've known for over ten years, looking so happy ( & a tad sparkly in that jacket I must say! #onpoint ) congratulations both!! Xxx

It's always an honour when someone you have known many years chooses you as their wedding photographer, it's got to be at least ten I've know Clare. That would take me back to the middle years of university, just when I was beginning to get my first paid jobs in sport, news and events photography. I wouldn't have touched someone's wedding back then, it's not just about being able to take a good picture- it's the pressure of a wedding and the confidence needed. Luckily, none of my friends got married young!
Clare and Emma's day started and finished at the Marriott hotel in Swansea, looking over the day. A full duo in action, jess on video and myself (Amy) on photographs. I'd text them the day before when I was on the beach walking the dogs, telling them to bring a coat for in between pixtures- it was so windy, it felt like below zero in temperature! Luckily, it wasn't quite as bad as the day before- the wind had dropped but the temperature was much the same. Talks of a tropical island got us through! We moved the group shots inside so they could thaw out a little bit!
By the time the evening came, the Marriott was fit to burst as the evening guests filed in - it's not often to see a lot of dance floor action before the first dance but this wedding was full of it!
We also popped the photo booth up after their speeches, those pictures can viewed here -
" If for every leaf that fell meant another day in love together; then Jemma & Paul, immersed in the beauty of late autumn have forever, and maybe even a little more. "
The morning started with bridal preparations at Jemma's parents home in Merthyr Tydfil - a surprising calm household filled with the smiles of their two beautiful girls Maddison & Chloe.
Jemma stepped out in style on to a red carpet leading to a traditional wedding car for her ride over the picturesque mountain to Craig-Y-Nos castle.
During the ceremony, George...I mean Paul... got his first and middle names the wrong way around - a great moment that I don't think Paul will ever live down! It had several mentions throughout the day and even made it in the speeches and the highlights video we created (SORRY PAUL, we couldn't resist)
The weather stayed clear but a little gloomy for the whole day, leaving us plenty of time to take their photographs in the stunning surroundings at Craig-Y-Nos country park!
Bringing the outdoors in, the autumnal theme carried through the day at the Craig-Y-Nos reception from leaves scattered on the tables to a stunningly crafted cake complete with tree carvings.
Overall, a stunning day with literally a bus full of evening guests arriving to create the ultimate wedding party atmosphere who loved the photobooth and hit the dance floor!
Here's what Jemma thoughts below, of the final video and pictures we sent !!
Jemma --- " Got home today to find a lovely parcel waiting to me and Paul. We have just watched our beautiful wedding video and photos and I cried (happy tears of course) and laughed. You captured everything and more, can only describe them as perfection, I cannot thank you enough. 💗 now to watch/look at them again and again x THANK YOU x "
Best of luck to both of you! xxx
