Wedding Photography & Videography Frequently Asked Questions
Do you help couples who feel awkward in front of the camera?
Absolutely. Most couples say this before booking.
Flashbulb’s approach is relaxed, natural and documentary-led, with very little stiff posing or forced direction. The focus is always on helping you feel comfortable, present and able to actually enjoy your wedding day while natural moments unfold around you.
What are fusion wedding films?
Fusion wedding films combine photography with short cinematic video clips captured naturally throughout the day.
Rather than a traditional full-scale wedding production, fusion coverage focuses on atmosphere, movement, emotion and real moments, creating a highlights film that feels personal, relaxed and easy to relive.

Do you photograph weddings at Swansea and South Wales wedding venues regularly?
Yes. Amy regularly photographs and films weddings across Swansea, Gower, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and the wider South Wales area.
This includes coastal weddings, barns, country houses, vineyards, hotels, tipis and destination-style venues throughout Wales and beyond.
Can our dog be part of the wedding photos?
Absolutely. Dogs are always welcome.
Whether they’re walking down the aisle, joining portraits, wearing a flower collar or simply causing complete chaos during the drinks reception, Flashbulb is fully supportive of dog involvement wherever venues allow it.
Do you offer candid documentary wedding photography?
Yes. Flashbulb specialises in relaxed documentary-style wedding photography focused on real moments rather than constant posing.
The aim is to capture genuine emotion, atmosphere and all the little in-between moments that make your wedding unique.

Do you travel outside South Wales for weddings?
Yes. Although based in Swansea, Amy regularly travels across the UK and Europe for weddings, elopements and destination celebrations.
Travel is discussed individually depending on location and coverage requirements.
Can we choose photography only without videography?
Absolutely. Most couples now choose photography-focused coverage, with the option to add fusion films, ceremony filming or speeches if they would also like movement and audio captured naturally throughout the day.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Honestly? Some of the best wedding photographs happen in terrible weather.
Rain often creates dramatic skies, reflections, cosy atmosphere and some brilliantly fun moments that make your wedding photographs feel even more memorable and unique.
Do you work with second photographers or videographers?
Yes. Additional photographers or videographers can be added depending on your wedding plans, guest numbers and coverage requirements.
This is especially helpful for larger weddings, multi-location preparations or couples wanting fuller film coverage.
Can we recommend music for our wedding film?
All music used in films is fully licensed for online sharing and professional use. It will be picked to fit the edit lengths and pace of your wedding day. For those reasons, it is better to let Amy do her thing and choose for you.
Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?
Absolutely. Love, not labels.
Flashbulb proudly photographs and films LGBTQ+ weddings across Swansea, South Wales and beyond, creating an inclusive, welcoming and genuinely relaxed experience for all couples.
